The Senior Manager, EH&S, Facilities & Security is responsible for leading the Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S), Facilities, and Security functions for StandardAero's Stockton, California site. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role ensures compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements while providing strategic leadership for environmental, health and safety programs, facilities maintenance, physical security, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Salary Range: $133,000-$148,000 base salary, plus annual bonus opportunity. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

What you'll do

  • Lead the site's Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S), Facilities, and Security programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, and other applicable federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
  • Manage and maintain EHS&S management systems, regulatory permits, ISO certifications, and corporate reporting requirements while serving as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external authorities.
  • Lead accident investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs to reduce risk and improve organizational performance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, conduct compliance gap assessments, and implement updated policies, procedures, training, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Direct facilities operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capital projects, utilities, building systems, equipment reliability, contractor management, and statutory inspections.
  • Lead site security operations, including access control, incident response, emergency planning, security audits, investigations, and compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response, fire prevention, business continuity, and crisis management programs, including drills and employee training.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Facilities, EHS&S, and Security personnel through performance management, employee development, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with site leadership to develop operational strategies that improve safety, regulatory compliance, facility performance, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, security awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and minimum 7 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading EHS, Facilities, Security, or related operations in a manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or regulated environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience, including performance management and employee development.
  • Experience managing EHS regulatory compliance programs, including OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Experience managing facilities operations, including maintenance systems, contractors, capital projects, and/or regulatory inspections.
  • Experience developing and implementing emergency response, business continuity, or security programs.
  • Experience communicating with regulatory agencies, auditors, customers, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Desired Characteristics

  • Professional certification (CSP, CIH, CSM, CFM, or equivalent).
  • Lead Auditor or Safety Risk Management training.
  • Experience in FAA Part 145 or aerospace MRO environments.
  • Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar EHS management systems.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work, LOTO, and contractor safety programs.
  • Experience with physical security systems, access control, and investigations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
