JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a Platform Engineer (DevOps / CI/CD / Automation / Observability) for a 16M+ Contract that is remote. The Platform Engineer will support a large-scale enterprise cloud data platform initiative focused on provisioning, automating, securing, monitoring, and optimizing Snowflake environments within Azure. The Platform Engineer will lead platform engineering efforts by implementing Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, observability, security integration, and cloud governance while ensuring the Snowflake platform remains scalable, reliable, secure, and cost efficient. The ideal Platform Engineer will possess strong Snowflake platform administration experience combined with Azure cloud engineering, DevOps automation, and enterprise platform operations expertise. This is a cloud platform engineering role focused on automation and operational excellence rather than traditional database administration.

  • Platform Engineering - Experience Supporting Enterprise Cloud Platforms Through Automation, Standardization, Operational Excellence, and Scalable Infrastructure Design
  • DevOps - Experience Implementing Modern DevOps Practices Supporting Infrastructure Automation, Source Control, Build Pipelines, and Release Management
