As a Security Officer Distribution Center Access Control in Brea, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help to support smooth access control operations. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, customer service, and clear communication to help reduce security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, parking areas, dock areas, and other assigned zones, noting conditions that may require follow-up.
• Assist with screening processes for deliveries, trailers, packages, and/or vehicles as directed by site procedures, while documenting required information and communicating clearly with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
