1st Shift Production Technician 5:30AM - 5:30PM

Wiscasset, ME
$21.75/hr starting + $2.00/hr shift differential
12-hour rotating schedule (3 on / 4 off, 4 on / 3 off)

What You'll Do



  • Operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foam
  • Perform quality inspections and testing, ensuring products meet specifications
  • Accurately record production and quality data in computerized systems
  • Package finished goods and prepare product for shipment
  • Work closely with team members, maintenance, quality, and supervisors to meet production targets
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and efficiency



What We're Looking For



  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP a plus)
  • Ability to make sound decisions independently and with a team
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required



Pre-employment physical, background check, and references required.

Physical Requirements



  • Standing and walking for most of the shift (75%+)
  • Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Close vision and color vision required
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Ability to work around industrial equipment
    This role may not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers due to equipment exposure.



PLEASE NOTE:This position's functional demands require working around or near equipment that may be hazardous to individuals with pacemaker equipment.
