Location: Approved US State (DC, Maryland, Virgina, Delaware) Location Type: Remote eligible, limited to Washington, DC Metro area (DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware) - with the willingness and ability to frequent the D.C. Office. Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Application Close Date: July 2, 2026 HXP seeks a Vice President, Finance & Accounting that will lead budgeting, financial planning and analysis, financial accounting and reporting, and regional finance operations for HXP and its two founding subsidiaries, PSI and EGPAF and any other future subsidiaries. This role ensures compliance with Global Accounting policies, oversees global audit requests, reports accurate financial data to donors, management, and the board(s), and provides appropriate financial oversight and support to its country, regional, and centrally funded program teams. This role leads the finance and accounting team under a shared services model and is accountable for delivering customer service and strategic support to each partner organization. What You'll Do
- Oversee the finance and accounting team and functions including controller, donor revenue & financial operations, treasury, systems & data, country finance operations support, corporate financial planning & analysis, and entity relationship management. Ensure all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting are effective. Oversee annual external and donor audit function. Responsible for ERP conversion and improvements. Ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Oversee all aspects of Regional Finance Operations for both subsidiaries including the coordination, preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for donors of all projects, technical training of staff, risk management, and the system of internal controls. Oversee the indirect rate negotiation and settlement process.
- Present critical financial matters at select Board of Directors and Executive Team meetings on key financial issues and risks. Advise the Chief Operating Officer and other key members of senior management on future integration with other subsidiaries, financial planning and analysis, and accounting and regulatory priorities and policy matters.
- Supervise and develop team members. Make recommendations concerning employment, termination, performance evaluations, salary actions, and other personnel actions. Set team and individual goals. Prioritize, organize, delegate, and coordinate the flow of work. Enhance individual employee performance through frequent and timely communication and support.
- 5-10% international travel

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
- Master's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred.
- At least 15 years of related experience.
- At least 7 years of supervisory experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience in ERP conversion and management of complex financial systems
- Thought leader in multiple financial disciplines including, but not limited to accounting, corporate finance and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with corporate budget development, with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights and strategic implications to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a high level of complex issues and multiple levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of donor regulations that impact financial policies, procedures, and programs.
- In-depth knowledge of practical application of latest financial research and trends.
- Excellent leadership, employee development and management skills. Knowing when to coach, when to advise and when to provide specific direction related to multiple financial disciplines.
- Excellent customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to modernize finance and accounting operations, including implementation of AI-driven forecasting, reporting, and process automation initiatives that drive efficiency and decision-making at scale, preferred.

Salary Ranges: HealthX Partners Incorporated is committed to pay equity and transparency. We ensure pay meets the market within each country. This approach minimizes our impact on local talent markets and allows HXP to attract and retain employees, while staying cost-competitive.Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring above the mid-point of the range below would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth. HealthX Partners Incorporated is offering the following gross annual salary ranges for this position:
- For the United States (paid in USD): $191,000 (minimum) - $239,000 (midpoint) - $299,000 (maximum)
