Create-A-Pack Foods is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist.

Create-A-Pack Foods is a food co-packer and manufacturer located in beautiful Lake Country Wisconsin with locations in both Ixonia as well as Oconomowoc. Over the past 25+ years, Create-A-Pack has grown from an entrepreneurial vision to a multimillion dollar operation that employs over 200 local employees. As we continue to grow, we are looking for hard working, reliable, and dedicated employees to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities include ?Improved inventory accuracy and facilitating production reporting by ensuring that the business system correctly capture all physical inventory movements and transactions that are made by:
      • Champion labeling accuracy, lot accuracy, weight accuracy, and FIFO compliance with the assistance of system generated reports
      • Generate reporting from ERP system as needed
      • Address individuals with inaccuracies and process deviations in real time and report to supervisors where patterns are developing
      • Review MSR for future production & communicate shortage to appropriate personnel
      • Work with purchasing and receiving to ensure just in time materials are scheduled appropriately and on time
      • Perform & delegate inventory cycle counts as needed
      • Responsible for maintaining quality standards, conditions, and/or specifications throughout the entire plant system
      • Reports and/or documents any quality related deviations to the appropriate personnel
      • Avoids contamination whenever possible.
      • Responsible for following food quality and safety guidelines
      • Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. sparingly and for sustained amounts of time
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
