As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.
• Support asset protection and loss prevention efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd management during busy periods, and following post orders for retail operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
