As a Security Officer Luxury High Rise in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. You will support access activity, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe tenant and visitor activity, and assist with badge, key, and/or visitor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily property operations by communicating with tenants and contractors, helping with directions and information, and reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
