TRC is seeking one or more temporary, on call Environmental Inspector(s) (EI) to provide environmental monitoring and inspection during construction of a FERC-regulated LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The position requires travel to the Project site.

The EI's primary responsibilities will be to monitor construction activities and ensure they are performed in compliance with the environmental conditions of the FERC Order and other relevant federal, state, and local permits, authorizations, clearances, and approvals, as well as construction-phase plans requiring environmental compliance such as the Project-specific Plan and Procedures. The EI will routinely communicate with construction contractors regarding compliance with permit conditions, monitoring activities, and non-compliance issues and statement of compliance holds. The EI will review pre-construction documentation relating to applicable permit conditions such that they can readily serve as a resource to construction contractors. They will perform their duties across the Project infrastructure and provide daily assistance to construction contractors as it pertains to construction activity within the authorized limits. The EI's duties may evolve as the Project progresses; however, several key duties include the following:

• Conduct daily field inspections and surveys to assess compliance with FERC and environmental regulations, focusing on erosion control, wildlife interactions, debris management, dust control, and roadway maintenance.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all mitigation measures required by the Order and other grants, permits, certificates, or other authorizing documents.
• Responsible for evaluating the construction contractor's implementation of the environmental mitigation measures required in the contract and any other authorizing documents.
• Empowered to order correction of acts that violate the environmental conditions of the Order, and any other authorizing document.
• Responsible for documenting compliance with the environmental conditions of the Order, as well as any environmental conditions/permit requirements imposed by other federal, state, or local agencies.
• Responsible for maintaining status reports.
• Monitor and document environmental compliance, preparing detailed daily inspection reports with written and photographic evidence.
• Conduct environmental sampling, including hydrostatic test water and soil.
• Review and understand permits and authorizations and other key project documents, providing critical assessments and guidance on environmental compliance.
• Provide input and guidance for spill response and cleanup activities.
• Evaluate restoration activities and ensure proper implementation of mitigation and best management practices.
• Serve as a resource for ensuring compliance with environmental permits.
• Collaborate with the Compliance Manager, contractors, site management, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to address compliance issues and maintain adherence to permit conditions.
• Support, deliver, or oversee environmental training for all construction personnel on site, as required by the FERC Order.
• Participate in project and construction meetings to provide updates and recommendations.
• Support variance requests for environmental permits through thorough documentation and analysis.
• Stay informed on relevant environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Assemble and present environmental compliance reports information for management.

• Experience performing EI and environmental compliance for LNG projects and/or FERC projects.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in construction monitoring, compliance, and environmental permitting for FERC Projects.
• Excellent verbal communications and technical skills are mandatory, along with the ability to maintain a positive attitude working under aggressive schedules.
• Willingness to work 6 days per week and 12-hour days outside in the elements.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform environmental compliance and understand permitting regulations of applicable regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of and the ability to review permit conditions and engineering drawings.
• Other environmental related skills such as wetland delineation.
• Computer and or GIS/GPS skills.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
