PURPOSE/SCOPE:
Then Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Technician develops, maintains, and generates CMM programs used to inspect and verify production materials and components. Reviews blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reviews blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices
* Determine program requirements based on design and engineering requirements
* Conduct quality control inspections
* Use precise measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
* Ensure precision machine is in working condition and properly calibrated
* Ensure proper code lines are encoded into the machine.
* Provide process improvement based on insight to change the programming and calibration of product.
* Creates drawings and plans of product parts for accurate replication during manufacturing process.
* Collaborates with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers in interpreting CMM output to evaluate parts quality and machining processes and resolve production quality issues

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
* Associate degree preferred or 3+ years of related experience
* Knowledge of ANSI/ASME, ISO, and GD&T
* Familiarity with aizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
* Proficient with PC-DMIS.
* Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques (e.g. histograms, pie and bar charts, control panels)

* Strong attention to detail
* Strong mathematical skills
* Excellent problem solving and assessment skills
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
* Demonstrates strong time management skills with ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
