The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports human resources, employee relations, and recruiting functions for the Padagis distribution center with approximately 60 employees. This role partners closely with operations leadership to support hourly and salaried employees, maintain compliance in a regulated environment, and promote a positive and productive workplace culture. The position is ideal for an early-career HR professional seeking broad exposure across recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations.

Job duties:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition



  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including distribution attendants, packagers, set up technicians, maintenance technicians, formulators and supervisory positions
  • Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate on-site or virtual interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and workforce planning
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug testing, and onboarding paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)


Employee Relations



  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
  • Support employee relations matters, including attendance, performance, workplace conduct, and policy interpretation
  • Assist managers with documentation related to coaching, corrective action, and performance management
  • Help investigate employee complaints or concerns and escalate issues appropriately
  • Promote consistent application of company policies and a respectful workplace


HR Operations & Employee Support



  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and required training documentation
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit paperwork and system updates
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and training activities


  • Create and maintain job descriptions, collaborating with the Compensation team to ensure accurate role leveling and alignment.


Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-4 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, employee relations, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment


Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience supporting employee relations in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or regulated environment
  • Experience recruiting hourly employees
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws, workplace safety, and compliance requirements
