Job Title: Field Engineer 4

Location(s): Harahan, LA

Important Notes:

• Dell certifications are required before start date and provided at no cost.
• A+ Certification required. Candidates without certification must obtain it within 90 days of start date.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid car insurance.
• Overtime and service discounts apply per client policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform break-fix repair services for laptops and desktops in assigned metro areas.
• Replace hardware components including:
  • Motherboards
  • Hard drives
  • Keyboards
  • LCD screens
• Conduct whole-unit swaps and peripheral replacements.
• Troubleshoot Dell laptops and desktop systems.
• Close service tickets in real time using company-provided mobile device.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the service area.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of hands-on laptop/desktop break-fix experience.
• Experience diagnosing Dell laptops and PCs.
• Hardware repair experience including motherboard and LCD replacement.
• Basic Microsoft application knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
• Reliable vehicle and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Preferred:

• Computer building or hardware assembly background.

Travel:

• 250-350 miles per week (mileage during workday reimbursed).

Work Authorization:

• U.S. Citizenship required due to potential travel to government/federal facilities.
