Job Summary:

Job Summary

Maintain safe operations, plan production schedules, manpower requirements, raw material requirements to ensure production of quality products timely to meet customer requirements.

Essential Functions

Monitor, sample and analyze color plant production processes so that material meets quality standards with respect for color and gradation. Make changes, or adjustments, to process equipment, paint formula or application rate to maintain quality specifications.

Ensure safety, quality, production and housekeeping standards are met at all times by all employees. Assist with production as may be required

Inspect and calibrate test equipment and process control instruments as scheduled or required.

Timely completion of record keeping and reporting and shift communications

Education- High School Diploma or GED required, with additional training preferred

Experience- 3 years in a manufacturing setting, prior supervisory experience preferred in a manufacturing setting. Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, heavy equipment and electrical principles. MSHA safety background.

Work performed in adverse conditions, temperature extremes, extended period of standing, walking, climbing ladders, steps and work on uneven surfaces
