IT Project Manager / Business Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager / Business Analyst for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Business Analysis, Agile Project Management, and mentoring teams with the adoption of Agile frameworks and industry best practices. This role involves working closely with development teams and end-users to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements within a Risk Technology group.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a BA / PM on a Risk Technology project, with responsibility to lead by example
• Understand and document business requirements using Agile methodology, and translate into JIRA work items
• Implement requirements traceability for Management, Audit, and other stakeholders
• Understand the Agile framework for Risk Technology projects, ensure adoption and consistent implementation of Policies and Procedures
• Prioritize work by setting and meeting realistic deadlines, forecasting, and communicating changes resulting from risks and issues
• Ensure a high level of fiscal control and accountability for project budget and resources
• Continuously improve Agile processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Work collaboratively as part of a diverse team across multiple time zones
• Generate appropriate reports/dashboards that provide insight into the Plan, Scope, Project Status, and Team Productivity
• Maintain documentation and create reusable templates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience, preferably in Risk Technology initiatives using Agile methodology
• 5+ years of experience working in Capital Markets or Fixed income or Commercial Lending
• Experience as a BA/PM working on Agile projects utilizing Cloud technologies (Preferably Azure)
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data validation techniques
• Expertise using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Visio/Gliffy, SharePoint, Office365, etc
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of various software development life cycles (SDLC)
• Proficient in data analysis using Excel and SQL
• Knowledge of capital markets products (Derivatives and SFTs) and counterparty credit risk measures (Net CE, MPE, EE, CVA)
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones

Desired skills:

• Basic Python proficiency and ability to read Python code

Pay range: up to $71.97 per hour
