Quality Assurance Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Test Lead for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for the test planning and orchestration of large-scale, multi-project test efforts within the Commercial Credit Technology domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of test analysis, execution, and defect management, along with hands-on experience as a Test Automation Developer/Engineer in a CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and orchestrate large scale multi-project/multi-system test efforts
• Execute automation scripts, prepare execution reports, and log defects
• Develop detailed Program Increment level test plans
• Perform test and impact analysis on feature and story level
• Facilitate acceptance criteria definition and define integration test scenarios
• Coordinate user acceptance test/E2E analysis and test activities with upstream/downstream stakeholders
• Coordinate test environments and test data
• Create test metrics and report on test activities
• Facilitate intake for test automation
• Manage and maintain testing-related documentation, including test plans and project plans
• Track problems and communicate defects to developers as they occur
• Provide proactive software quality assurance process assistance
• Communicate with program internal and external stakeholders on matters related to Integration/UAT/E2E
• Provide guidance to mid-level and junior-level resources

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Test Lead experience
• 5-7 years of Banking domain experience supporting Commercial Credit
• 5-8 years of hands-on Test Automation development and execution experience in a structured CI/CD environment
• University Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with any one of the test automation tools (Tosca, Cucumber, Selenium)
• Experience in version control tools like Bitbucket, SVN, or Perforce
• Experience in working on projects using matured SDLC methodologies (Agile preferred)
• At least 2 years of project management/lead experience
• Proven ability to write and execute detailed test scripts
• Experience in using one or more SDLC tools such as Rally or JIRA

Desired skills:

• Previous experience in implementing test automation development efforts in an Agile SCRUM environment
• Additional expertise in one or more languages: Java EJB, VBScripts, JavaScript, VBA, SQL, HTML, Python, Perl, .Net, Unix
• Working experience in a Global organization with an onshore/offshore model
• Experience supporting production releases and resolving problems
• Extensive experience working in SAFe Agile
• Deployment using complex enterprise Force.com release management and knowledge of Force.com Metadata API
• Experience building integration and interfaces using SFDC Web Services API
• Understanding of Credit Underwriting Technologies
• Working knowledge of ETL- Informatica
• Experience on Lightning implementations in Salesforce CRM
• Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills

Pay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hour
