A Brief Overview
The HR Technology Manager leads a team of HR Technology Professionals who support the full HR Technology portfolio and analytics. This role provides expertise in the enablement of world class technology deployments including, but not limited to, Core/Administrative HR, Talent Management, HR Reporting & Analytics, Total Rewards, Workforce Management, Integrated HR Service Delivery (iHRSD), and Digital HR Document Management. This includes on-premises, cloud, and outsourced deployment models.

This role is a strategic partner who contributes to the technology roadmap, forges strong partnerships with leaders across the organization to help identify needs, present research and trend data, and influence what features and functionality best enhance a streamlined, user-friendly experience. The HR Technology Manager role is a key leader in vendor selection, vendor management and overseeing complex implementations. This role is a key people manager accountable for the selection, performance and ongoing leadership for the HR Technology team.

Workday experience is strongly preferred for this role.

What you will do

HR Technology Leadership

  • Builds and develops a world class team of HR professionals trained to excel in executing all aspects of CHOP's HR Technology strategy and mission
  • Applies superior people and resource management skills in terms of allocating resources, assigning work, providing direction, coaching team members, developing talent / bench strength and evaluating individual and team performance against established objectives
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive HR domain knowledge when devising solutions or servicing the needs of the client base; Builds breadth of HR professional knowledge across all HR domains
  • Displays a high level of expertise in the HR Technology discipline - stays abreast of market trends and applies best practices by maintaining external focus
  • Champions technology-enabling change initiatives across the organization

Application Services Management

  • Strong working knowledge of CHOP's HR Technology applications and associated business processes Leads the activities to diagnose, document and resolve complex HR application issues from a functional, administrative and operational perspective
  • Exhibits a consistently high level of customer service, collaboration and consensus building skills while working with internal clients and/or stakeholders
  • Leads user support, systems administration and data management activities which include systems maintenance, data maintenance, table maintenance, integration monitoring, data uploads, and configuration functions for HR Technology applications
  • Leads efforts to establish and publish HR Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Acts as a key liaison to the IS function including prioritization, tracking and approval of service requests Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CHOP HR applications including how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs

People Management

  • Establishes performance and development goals and objectives for team members to achieve both short-term and long-term HR technology deliverables
  • Facilitate employee development and growth by building out individual skills, knowledge, and experience in order to ensure team members can more effectively help each other and maximize the team's collective ability to advance organizational objectives.
  • Ensure effective delivery of features, ensuring work is managed at a sustainable pace for both the team and the impacted user communities.

Project Management

  • Manages and delivers large, complex HR Technology projects and system implementations
  • Management of outside HR Technology vendors and service providers including planning and execution of upgrades, new releases enhancements and system fixes.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Relevant academic concentrations include: HR Technology, HR Management, Human Capital Management, Business Intelligence, Health Care Administration, Information Systems Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least seven (7) years relevant HR applications-related experience working in an HRIS or HRT environment Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) - International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) - upon hire - Preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$115,060.00 - $152,450.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
