What You'll Do



Job Summary:

The role provides leadership and direction for the design, development, and operation of enterprise data engineering capabilities. This role shapes the vision and execution of scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and efficient access to data, while partnering with business and technology leaders to ensure data platforms support organizational priorities and longterm growth.

Essential Functions:

    • Define and lead the strategic vision for data engineering, ensuring infrastructure and platforms support current and future organizational data needs.
    • Oversee the design, development, and operation of data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing frameworks that enable reliable data generation, movement, and access.
    • Establish standards and best practices for data architecture, integration, quality, security, and performance across internal and external data sources.
    • Guide the evolution of scalable and resilient data environments that support analytics, reporting, and downstream data consumers.
    • Partner with executive and crossfunctional leaders to align data engineering priorities with business objectives and technology strategies.
    • Manage departmental planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution of initiatives and responsible financial stewardship.
    • Lead and develop a team of senior leaders and highlevel contributors, building deep technical capability and leadership readiness.
    • Assess emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to inform platform decisions and continuous improvement of data capabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to data governance, security, and risk management.
    • Represent the data engineering function in enterprise discussions and, as needed, with external partners or vendors.





What You'll Need



Education and Experience Requirements:





    • Required Education: Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree), advanced degree preferred.
    • Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, 8+ years as a People Leader
    • Extensive experience in data engineering, data architecture, or largescale data platform development within complex environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to set functional strategy and translate longterm objectives into executable plans and outcomes.
    • Strong understanding of modern data technologies, integration patterns, and cloud or hybrid data architectures.
    • Proven experience leading leaders and managing diverse technical teams at scale.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders and influence crossfunctional priorities.
    • Expertise in budgeting, operational planning, and delivering results through disciplined execution.

Expected Pay Range



$235,000 - 270,000
