Description: Skills & Competencies Hardware Expertise: Strong knowledge of server architecture, component-level repair, diagnostics tools, and OEM hardware. Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of TCP/IP, cabling standards, patching, link testing, and basic switch configuration. Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Ability to evaluate technical symptoms, isolate faults, and drive issues to resolution. Operational Excellence: Familiarity with ITIL practices, ticketing systems, SOP adherence, and change management. Physical Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with racks, PDUs, UPS systems, cable management, airflow, and cooling principles. Security & Compliance: Awareness of data center security protocols, access control, and audit requirements. Soft Skills: Clear communication, teamwork, ability to work under pressure, strong time management, and attention to detail. Tools Proficiency: Use of KVMs, crash carts, cable testers, power measurement tools, and diagnostic utilities.
