Operations Readiness Manager -Travel Operations Remote

Full time, United States, Canada

This role partners with Operations and other teams to support end to end efforts on the operational components of new business implementations and change initiatives, ensuring business readiness and sustained operational performance.

As a Operations Readiness Manager- Travel Operations, you will



  • Serve as the operational business owner through implementation and change
  • Be accountable for operational tasks supporting business readiness
  • Complete end to end testing across systems, processes, and operational workflows
  • Own operational readiness through engagement with company resources to ensure everyone is aligned on expectations, responsibilities, and outcomes for ongoing service delivery
  • Maintain structure, visibility, and accountability across initiatives by tracking progress, clarifying responsibilities, and providing clear communication that measures outcomes and identifies risks or gaps
  • Provide purposeful communication that drives alignment, identifies risks, and prepares Operations to assume the business with confidence
  • Build confidence and establish trust through consistent follow through, clarity, and accountability



About you



  • Prior Corporate Travel Operations Experience
  • General knowledge of 3rd party tools and technology solutions applicable to the travel industry - i.e. online booking tools, travel and expense tools, virtual payment systems, crisis and risk management software
  • Strong Sabre GDS skills are required. GDS Amadeus knowledge is a plus
  • Comfortable working in MS tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note and Smartsheet
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in English
  • Must be able to work under the stress of and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting required timelines
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically
  • Capable of identifying customer needs - listening to information, asking probing questions, applying knowledge, crafting solutions

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Manager, Operations Readiness and Support is between $60,000 and $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
