DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
This position focuses on keeping the center clean, orderly, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. It is an important role that supports our daily operations. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Deep Cleaning: Perform detailed cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and specialized spaces
- General Cleaning: Carry out tasks such as mopping, dusting, sweeping, and polishing across many surfaces
- Restroom Care: Clean and sanitize all restrooms and restock necessary supplies
- Waste Disposal: Empty waste containers and dispose of general, recyclable, and infectious materials
- Room Preparation: Clean, sanitize, and organize resident rooms before they are occupied
- Grounds Maintenance: Clear debris from walkways and help with removing snow

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, rotating days and weekends, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirements:

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
