WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are seeking a motivated intern to support the department's retail and marketing initiatives. This role blends go-to-market planning, campaign support, funnel/customer relationship management (CRM) analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The intern will contribute to real projects, help turn inputs into clear recommendations, and document learnings to improve how work gets done.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support go-to-market and campaign planning by helping define goals, success criteria, target audiences, key messages, proof points, and calls-to-action.
  • Participate in campaign kickoffs and working sessions; capture notes, decisions, open questions, and next steps; publish concise recaps.
  • Assist with funnel/lead-flow thinking (awareness engagement lead) and contribute to basic CRM/funnel education materials as needed.
  • Audit existing marketing campaigns and assets; identify gaps in offer clarity, audience fit, follow-up materials, and alignment to customer pain points.
  • Develop insights and recommendations based on key performance indicators (KPIs); propose 3-5 practical improvements.
  • Prepare final deliverables such as an insight document, strategy recommendation deck, and/or short presentation with key findings and handoff notes.
  • Collaborate across divisions and teams (e.g., Sales, Rental, Product Support, Energy Solutions) and support cross-functional coordination as assigned.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25-30 pounds.
  • Requires frequent use of hands for typing, operating the phone, handling materials, and other job-related tasks.
  • Works in an environment where hazards may be present.

  • How marketing strategy is briefed, executed, and measured within a cross-functional operating model.
  • How divisional teams use campaigns, messaging, and enablement assets to progress leads through a funnel.
  • How to translate stakeholder inputs into clear problem statements, actionable plans, and recommendations.


Qualifications


  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Interest in marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, and/or brand positioning.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear summaries, recaps, and simple slide-ready narratives.
  • Comfort working with basic metrics and organizing information from multiple sources.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities with guidance.

  • Structured thinker who can turn ambiguity into a simple plan, draft, or set of questions.
  • Curious, coachable, and proactive about asking for context and feedback.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with different functional partners.
  • Organized project support: tracking tasks, deadlines, and dependencies.


ROLE LOGISTICS



  • Timeframe/Hours: Internship timing and weekly hours may vary (e.g., full-time summer placement or short-term part-time project support).
  • Reporting & Collaboration: The intern will be embedded with divisional specialists and collaborate across marketing and division partners, with clear weekly priorities and defined deliverables.
