Could you be the full-time onsite Site Industrial Quality Manager in West Mifflin, PA, US we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial quality management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates. You'll lead the implementation of the Zero Defect Program within Industrial Quality activities at our West Mifflin site, driving operational excellence and ensuring top-tier quality standards across production. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, production, and supply chain), manage site Industrial Quality activities-including budget, people, processes, and performance-and drive continuous improvement initiatives using innovative digital solutions and quality tools, such as Lean Six Sigma and Problem Solving methodologies, and much more. We'll look to you for:
- Lead and manage the site industrial quality team (direct reports: industrial quality technicians).
- Oversee day-to-day quality operations on the production line: perform and supervise in-line validations and checks (e.g., torque validation), troubleshoot manufacturing quality issues, and ensure products meet release criteria for shipping.
- Act as the primary quality presence on the production floor (hands-on role): conduct inspections, support production during build and release.
- Partner with production and whitecollar leadership to align quality processes and expectations; translate quality requirements into shopfloor practices.
- Own/process nonconformance reports (NCRs) and related SAP or site-specific workflows (training/access will be provided).
- Use data to drive quality improvements: collect and analyze production quality metrics, create charts/reports, support continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) initiatives.
- Conduct or coordinate internal audits and support external audit readiness (ISO knowledge expected); potentially support leadauditor activities or fasttrack certification onboarding.
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians and site staff on quality standards, inspection methods, and shopfloor procedures.
- Ensure adherence to site safety, uniform, and operating procedures (site uniform required).
- Participate in local crosssite coordination as needed (occasional travel to sister sites).

- Associate Degree / College technical diplomas, and/or strong technical certification plus relevant experience (Engineering Degree is a plus),
- Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing quality experience,
- Understanding of quality standards and systems (ISO, TQM, Lean, Six Sigma), manufacturing quality processes and line validation techniques,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills - pivot tables, charts), experience with data analysis and reporting,
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, ability to read drawings and technical documents,
- Strong communication and team leadership, ability to work with both bluecollar technicians and whitecollar leadership,
- Certifications (preferred): ASQ certifications (Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, lead auditor), Lean/Six Sigma experience (Green/Black Belt or demonstrated knowledge), lead auditor training is a plus,
- Must be willing/able to work predominantly on the shop floor; comfortable with a manufacturing environment,
- People management experience in an industrial environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
