  • Support functional, pressure, flow, and electrical testing using calibrated test equipment and fixtures.
  • Perform lighting verification of illuminated components (e.g., avionics dials) in controlled or low-light environments to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications.
  • Assist with test stand setup, configuration changes, and verification activities in accordance with approved test procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Record test data accurately, identify discrepancies, and initiate escalation or corrective actions in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Support assembly and handling of flex circuit or Scene Flex-type assemblies, ensuring proper routing, handling, and protection of sensitive components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, assembly routes, test procedures, service instructions, and quality documentation (including ATPs, CMMs, and service bulletins as applicable).
  • Perform work in accordance with approved configuration and process requirements, including verification of part configuration, modification status, and labeling prior to release.
  • Perform surface preparation, paint touch-up, labeling, marking, and cosmetic finishing per specifications and quality standards.
  • Handle and apply approved industrial chemicals, coatings, adhesives, and solvents in compliance with safety, environmental, and process requirements.
  • Ensure proper curing, cleanliness, and cosmetic acceptance of components per applicable documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in shop systems (e.g., RCARD/work travelers), ensuring full traceability and compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Recognize and communicate job status changes (e.g., holds, shortages, test issues) to appropriate functions.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to test equipment, tooling, or documentation that may impact quality or throughput.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment.
  • Follow ESD controls, safe product-handling practices, and environmental health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper use and care of tools, fixtures, and calibrated equipment.
  • Coordinate with test, engineering, quality, and planning teams to support efficient workflow and on-time delivery performance.
