Temporary Nonexempt - Department of Neuroscience

Provide work in a research laboratory to ensure the development of methods, protocols, and techniques for the collection of specimens from clinical research studies for the measurement of medications in biological samples to ensure that all data analyses are done appropriately and timely.

50% Medication measurement - Collect specimens from clinical research studies for measurement of medications in biological samples.
20% Sensory assessment response - Assist Neuropharmacological research team with rodent sensory assessment response evaluation.
20% Operant conditioning - Assist Neuropharmacological research team with rodent operant conditioning studies.
5% Data analysis - Interpret and analyze data from experimental studies.
5% Equipment - Develop methods and preventative maintenance on equipment, including routine testing.

Required Qualifcations:
Undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry and Chemistry

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
