*Loss Mitigation Representative - 100% Remote* We are currently seeking experienced *Loss Mitigation Representatives* to support a high-volume mortgage servicing team. This is a *fully remote, contract opportunity* with strong potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
*Position Overview* In this role, you will serve as a *Single Point of Contact (SPOC)* for borrowers in the early stages of delinquency. You will support customers through the *loss mitigation process*, helping them understand repayment options, navigate available programs, and manage their accounts. This role starts with a mix of *administrative support and customer service*, with progression into a more call-driven environment focused on repayment plan support. *Key Responsibilities* * Act as the *Single Point of Contact (SPOC)* for assigned borrowers * Handle *inbound and outbound calls* regarding mortgage accounts and delinquency status * Assist customers with *repayment plans and loss mitigation options* * Provide clear explanations of programs, next steps, and account updates * Manage and respond to *customer inquiries* via phone and written communication * Support *collections-related issues* with professionalism and empathy * Gather and update *required documentation and case files* * Process payments and educate customers on financial implications * Perform *skip tracing* and update borrower contact information *Required Qualifications* * Experience in *loss mitigation, mortgage collections, or mortgage customer service* * Strong background in a *call center environment* * Experience working as a *Single Point of Contact (SPOC)* preferred * Ability to manage sensitive conversations with professionalism and care * Strong communication and problem-solving skills *Preferred Experience* * Debt collections experience within a *financial services or banking environment* * Familiarity with mortgage servicing processes and regulations *Schedule* * Monday through Friday * Must be available to work either: * 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST * or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST * *Occasional Saturday shifts* may be required *Work Environment* * *100% Remote* position * High-volume, fast-paced call center environment * Requires the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously *Compensation & Details* * *Pay Rate:* $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience) * *Overtime:* Eligible at 1.5x pay * *Employment Type:* Contract * *Duration:* Approximately 6-8 months, with potential for extension or conversion * *Open Positions:* 10 *Benefits* (Eligibility may vary) * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * 401(k) retirement plan (pre-tax and Roth options) *Interview Process* * One *virtual interview* * Focus on mortgage experience, customer service skills, and ability to manage collections-related conversations *Ideal Candidate* * Proven experience in *mortgage loss mitigation or collections* * Comfortable working in a *remote, performance-driven environment* * Strong ability to build rapport and guide customers through challenging financial situations * Detail-oriented and organized when managing documentation and case files This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mortgage professionals to join a dynamic team, expand their expertise in loss mitigation, and work remotely with a flexible schedule. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Mount Laurel, NJ. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
