The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Commercial supports the PGA TOUR's Commercial segment through detailed financial analysis, reporting, and modeling related to the tournament schedule, sponsorship products, event operations models, and other commercial activity across the organization. This role partners closely with Commercial leadership and FP&A teammates to provide data-driven insight, build financial models and reports, and support strategic decision-making across the TOUR's commercial portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a financial analysis, accounting, or related field
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting
  • Experience with Workday and report writing software preferred; Adaptive and/or OfficeConnect a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to build financial models and structured analyses
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with experience helping prepare executive-level materials
  • Ability to analyze large sets of financial and non-financial data and synthesize results into clear insights
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, initiative, and interest in commercial strategy and business performance

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Support FP&A leadership in partnering with PGA TOUR Events, Corporate Partnerships, and other Commercial teams to understand financial projections, assumptions, and underlying business performance
  • Assist in the preparation of PGA TOUR event and schedule financials, including budgets, monthly forecasts, long-range plans, and supporting reporting workbooks
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Excel-based financial models to support evaluation of event economics, sponsorship structures, and commercial opportunities
  • Prepare financial analyses and presentation materials for operating reviews, planning discussions, and executive-level updates
  • Support the evaluation of prospective business opportunities and contract renewals by analyzing financial returns, sensitivities, and key assumptions
  • Assist in assessing event operating models and trade-offs between sponsor value, event economics, and TOUR strategy
  • Partner with PGA TOUR FP&A, Tournament Financial Analysis, and Corporate Accounting to support variance analysis, actuals review, and alignment across financial systems and reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data and reporting outputs; respond to ad hoc analytical requests as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial system initiatives that improve efficiency, insight, and decision support
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
