A Day In The Life

The Manager, Legal Affairs-Corporate Governance will support GSFS Group's finance and insurance programs by assisting with corporate governance activities for GSFS Group and its dealer program partners with particular focus on (1) accurate creation and maintenance of corporate reports and records including electronic databases; (2) assistance to attorneys in connection with company formation and management including consents, agendas, meetings and minutes; (3) creation and analysis of agreements and amendments, especially reinsurance agreements and trust documentation; (4) preparation of governmental filings; and (5) acting as liaison between customers, GSFS Group associates and managers.

As a Manager, Legal Affairs you will:

  • Document drafting and analysis including preparation and analysis of templates, contracts and amendments.

  • Providing assistance with due diligence and KYC activities for vendors, dealers and dealer program entities.

  • Providing project management particularly in relationship to governance activities and dealer programs projects.

  • Managing and performing legal, regulatory and/or factual research.

  • Oversee the daily management of the corporate records of GSFS Group entities and/or managed dealer owned entities in an effort to support

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • 10+ years paralegal or related or training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with contract drafting, corporate governance (meetings, consents, formation and maintenance of entities) and paralegal experience in a large law firm and in house legal department required.

  • Experience with legal department operations and project management is desirable.

Travel Requirements

  • 10% - Periodic travel may be required
