Human Resource Generalist I

This role requires 5 days on-site attendance at our Erie, PA location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support. Sitting in the Erie, PA office, this position will support recruiting, talent management, and general HR projects. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, contributing to the business's business strategy, direction, and overall effectiveness, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches to find solutions to challenges.
• Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
• Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
• Success in creating and driving effective and positive employee relations, retention, and reward programs
• The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong internal and external customer service focus
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. This leader must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. Be able to employ forward thinking and have the ability to expeditiously execute significant business projects and programs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• HR Generalist or equivalent related experience
• Experience in a lean environment or familiarity with 80/20 a plus
• Union experience a plus
