Key Position Details:

  • 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)
  • 8-hour day shift
  • No weekends
  • Remote position with the opportunity to come onsite 1-2 times per year.
  • We are primarily seeking candidates based in Minnesota, with potential consideration for qualified applicants located in Wisconsin, South Dakota, Iowa, Texas, or Florida.
  • Union contract/Labor Relations experience preferred.
  • Basic project management experience/Facilitation skills preferred.
  • Excel experience required (vlookup, pivot, data sort, tables, etc) preferred.
  • Strong HR analytics and data investigation skills, including the ability to interpret workforce data, question data integrity or outcomes, and identify root drivers behind trends preferred.
  • Selfstarter who can independently learn HR systems, reporting tools, and business processes to solve complex peopledata questions.
  • Workday /HRIS system experience preferred.
  • UKG experience preferred.

Job Description:

Oversees the functional support of all human resources systems to ensures the human resources organizational system needs are met. Supports both the systems and the processes of HR business unit, acting in a liaison role between the human resources and information technology. Supports all human resources functions by providing human resources system support, analysis, testing, reporting and business process design improvement. This includes business requirements gathering and analysis, design, testing, documentation, and end-user training for upgrades, updates, and enhancements of human resources systems. Also, responsible for data quality and the monitoring of reports and trending data.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Partners with information technology to ensure human resources system requirements are met.
    • Defines system requirements, priorities and viable alternatives.
    • Provides estimates of work effort and coordinates the efforts with the project team to effectively use resources to test, communicate and implement.
    • Identifies opportunities to streamline business processes to best leverage human resources systems and then translates functional requirements for a business process or application into technical changes within human resources systems.
    • Develops and maintains testing plans and scenarios to ensuring that all modules and functionality are fully tested including application and unit test, integrated test, parallel test, performance and stress test.
    • Completes system testing per the testing plans and helps information technology resolve any defects.
    • Maintains policy and procedures documentation in support of business processes and end user training.
    • Develops and delivers Human Resources system training and end user support.
    • Participates in case consultation of highly complex and escalated issues in support to human resources shared services.
    • Develops standard and ad hoc reports from human resources systems to support business needs that maintains data integrity, including regulatory reporting.
    • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of capabilities through self-service reporting.
    • Performs ad hoc project management to support system needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline
  • 3+ years experience supporting Human Resources systems

Licenses/Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources, Senior Professional in Human Resources or equivalent certification preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $35.61 to $48.81 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
