Owns and manages CFS project and product deliverable pipeline; maintaining documentation, facilitating prioritization and definition meetings. Responsible for the planning and managing the execution of critical and integrated products/solutions involving Bank payment environments, technology integrating into those environments and building out pricing/marketing/documentation/etc. through partnerships with enterprise support teams and impacted product teams and Lines of Business. Represents CFS and associate sponsored projects to key committees (i.e. Strategic Investment Committee and Enterprise Sourcing Committee). Preparing presentation deliverables, defining/managing of project budgets to include expenses and revenue. Working with Bankers of CFS and Treasury Sales Officers to understand market demands; Participating with client meetings, conferences and other industry channels to gather intelligence, use cases and viability of market demands. Lead the full project lifecycle for payment initiatives and integration projects sponsored and funded by CFS. Participate in other projects in these disciplines that have impact on CFS clients and product solutions. This will include scoping, deliverables, timeline/project plan development, resources, testing, budgets, etc. Assists with the development of Business Strategies and Goals, helping with facilitating the research and defining as such, reporting on progress of those and assisting the President and Director with preparing any packages needed for funding and presenting to strategic committees. Partner with Director of Enterprise Payment Strategy, Treasury, CTO and other critical partners to prioritize, define and execute initiatives. Tracking on success, opportunities and return on investments. Work with Enterprise Risk and CFS Business Risk Leader to complete Risk Assessments for sponsored projects and evaluating any owned products/platforms sponsored by CFS for Integrated Banking. Support CFS Treasury Sales, Bankers and Director of CFS Admin in prospective sales, expanding client relationships and evaluating solutions for client needs. Work with the Director to perform regular industry research aligned with Division Strategies and Goals, leading the Division through regular reviews of industry trends and impacts on the Division's business objectives. Work with the Director in researching and evaluating new vendors, partnership opportunities and building business cases for any projects and potential capital investment/expenditure requests. Strong technical skills with defining scope, function and technology needed to deliver Banking API's, designing and managing a Developer Portal (and public pages), and being a liaison between client/market common treasury language and Development teams. Ability to understand the various API architecture and emerging technology (such as MCP for AI compatible APIs) Experience with Go to Market strategies; MVP/Beta periods, sustainable operational models, documentation, marketing, pricing, governance, risk controls, etc. Strong Treasury and Payment experience in a Commercial and Large Corporate Banking ecosystem Familiar to Expert knowledge of common and emerging Treasury and ERP platforms Strong working knowledge of the various segments and products in the Payments industry; NACHA, Wire, Card (Debit and Credit) and emerging payments such as Real Time Payments and Payment HUBs Strong communication and presentation skills for Executive level Management and with Customers in the Financial and Payment industries. Experience with setting Strategic roadmap, along with building business cases and investment return analysis; Innovation with strong financial aptitude Ability to be very detailed oriented in quantitative and qualitative research; being able to summarize for others clearly at an Executive level Ability to create professional networks to understand emerging trends, establish strong vendor connections and the ability to share condensed understanding with internal personnel and business partners Cross functional matrix relationship building and management Exposure to and general understanding of regulations and risk of this type of solution offering and projects Strong project management experience, running (either as lead, key SME, PM, etc.) large scale, multi division, enterprise level projects
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or comparable work-related experience. 10-15 years of Banking Experience (comparable experience in Payment Industry or FinTech verticals) 7-10 Years of experience in the Commercial Bank and/or Payments Industry Proven experience with API's, ERP's and Integrated Corporate Banking Experience in an Operational and/or Product organizations Proven experience in working relationships with Commercial Customers, Matrix organizations and in a Highly Regulated environment
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position may be located in a cubicle environment that may be loud throughout the day. This position could be located in a private office. Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred.
