ABOUT THE JOB:
As aDivisional Territory Sales Manager at WillScot, you will drive customer and product growth across assigned and remote territories within the United States while working onsite out of our Duncanville, TX (Southwest Dallas) or Ft Lauderdale, FLbranch. This is a high-impact, phone-driven, consultative sales role focused on providing short-term territorial coverage and expanding market share through high-volume outbound calling, email outreach, and phone-based prospecting.
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle-from proactive outbound calling and discovery through solution design and close-converting opportunities into revenue-generating activations. You'll build strong customer relationships and deliver tailored space and storage solutions that help customers operate more efficiently, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor by clearly articulating product value, ROI, and long-term benefits.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated, customer-centric self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, phone-heavy environment. Your ability to listen closely, uncover needs through conversation, tailor solutions, and execute with urgency will directly contribute to revenue growth, customer success, and sustained territory performance. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Sales Growth:
- Work closely with the in-market sales team (Territory Sales Manager/Product Sales Manager) to become an expert on local business opportunities & challenges including upcoming & current projects, seasonality, market competition, fleet comparison, availability, and condition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships in the territory you are supporting through extensive networking with local contractors, sub-contractors, businesses, and specialty service providers.
- Prospect new opportunities and projects by and researching and analyzing public data.
- Develop sales strategies and pricing structures that capture market share by enabling growth and retention through multiple product offerings and business verticals.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Collaborate with the local sales teams (Sales Representatives, Territory Sales Managers, Product Sales Managers) to share best practices and ensure cross-selling and product penetration for the territory you are supporting.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customer needs, provide product recommendations, and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with customers to create tailored solutions that meet their specific container and modular structure requirements.
- Utilize SalesForce CRM system to track performance and manage customers collaboratively.
Market Analysis:
- Be informed of upcoming news around local projects, developments, and funding in the territory you are supporting.
- Be creative in delivering compelling and informative product presentations remotely (via phone, email or videoconference)
- Work with the local sales teams to ensure you have the knowledge and resources to price competitively and accurately within the territory.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Be the single point of contact when things go unexpected for your customers. Facilitate resolution through cross-functional collaboration and joining forces.
- Manage customer satisfaction and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to rectify any outstanding customer issues until resolved.
- Be an internal customer advocate to achieve high customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Be open and transparent about sales; sometimes we make mistakes. We own our outcomes and do not pass blame.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with localsales resources to ensure strategic division of labor without redundant activities.
- Uphold a commitment to always providing high-quality customer service.
- Oer guidance on discounting/pricing strategies, market trends, and product oerings for the territory you are supporting.
- Additional Duties and Functions as assigned.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 1+ year of phonebased sales experience
- Proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms such as Teams and Zoom
- Must be willing and able to work out of the Duncanville, TX (Southwest Dallas) or Ft Lauderdale, FL office Monday - Friday during business hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in highvolume, phonebased sales environments with transactional sales cycles and/or leasing models
- Demonstratedconsultative, solutionselling mindset with the ability to uncover needs and recommend valuedriven solutions
- Experience withstrategic account management and territory development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers, peers, and internal stakeholders.
- High level of comfort interacting withall levels of an organization, from construction site personnel to executive and boardroom audiences
- Relevant industry experience (such as construction, equipment rentals)
- Experience with Salesforce or related CRM
