SUMMARY OF POSITION: A Commercial Card Services Advisor should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position will be responsible for organizing, marketing, and delivering our commercial card and automated payables products, including small business and commercial credit cards, and corporate purchasing cards, to business clients and prospects. This role will build strong internal partnerships across the firm to educate and promote the benefits of these products on the payment needs of our clients. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
- Partner with Financial Advisors and Treasury Management Advisors to promote and market commercial cards to our clients and prospects, including small business credit card, commercial credit card, and large corporate purchasing card.
- Build strong internal partnerships with Treasury Management Advisors to make joint calls, collaborate on corporate proposals and payment needs, and promote purchasing card program to clients and prospects.
- Work closely with product manager and business partner to advance the program in development of new payment capabilities and operational efficiencies.
- Provide training and onboarding support to new clients in each of our commercial card and payables products, with particular emphasis in the Purchasing card program, including its administration and expense management portal, card management guidance, and risk management advice.
- Provide day-to-day support to clients in our purchasing card program over the phone and in our online access point, responding to client questions, issues, and requests for information.
- Provide ongoing training and education to elevate client engagement and use of services.
- Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and refer clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - College degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services, preferably in commercial cards and/or treasury management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software.
- Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations and compliance.
- Knowledge of commercial card industry, products & services.
