Tomorrow is On-build what's next in Gulf Coast gas.

We are seeking a commercially minded leader to drive growth for Enbridge's natural gas transmission footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast.

As a Director, US Gulf Coast Business Development, you will originate, shape, and advance pipeline development opportunities-from early customer engagement and scope definition through internal approvals, regulatory pathways, and successful execution-building durable relationships with customers and partners across a rapidly evolving market.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and advance Gulf Coast natural gas pipeline growth projects, including customer engagement, opportunity screening, scope development, internal governance/approvals, external authority, and execution support.

  • Own senior-level customer interaction-marketing, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management-to deliver commercial outcomes and long-term value.

  • Maintain strong market and competitive intelligence across the U.S. Gulf Coast gas transmission landscape and translate insights into actionable business development opportunities.

  • Lead project or asset planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring/reporting.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Regulatory, Legal, Commercial Operations, Economic Analysis, Engineering, Operations, Investment Review, and Corporate Development.

  • Provide clear, regular updates on business development initiatives for senior leaders.

What You Bring

Required

  • Related University undergraduate degree along with extensive 15+ years of natural gas midstream (interstate and intrastate) industry experience, including business development; other externally facing experience (e.g., commercial relationship management) may be considered.

  • Strong strategic and business approach with the ability to translate industry insights into specific opportunities.

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability.

Preferred

  • Understanding of North American gas markets; knowledge of Permian, Haynesville, and Eagle Ford shales is a plus.

  • Experience in project development or a comparable industrial environment.

  • Commercial operations, sales, or marketing experience.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with frequent travel across the Gulf Coast region.

  • Work involves managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Included but not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
