Position Overview: The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing of assigned product categories to achieve improvements in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), working capital and business financial goals. Best results will be achieved by using a strategic sourcing process to drive the activities involved in supplier selection, supplier development, and supplier relationship management. This role involves working closely with cross functional teams to achieve strategic sourcing objectives for the assigned commodities. Key Responsibilities:
Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Total Cost of Ownership, negotiations, cost analysis and ROI a must. Strong cross functional communicator, quick learner on products, features, and benefits. Strong and creative problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Product application aptitudes will be helpful in understanding products and markets. Minimum Education and Experience: 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent work experience.3-5 years of Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering or Supply Chain.
