1st Shift Electromechanical Assembler (Temporary to Hire)

We are looking for a 1st Shift Electromechanical Assembler to join our Group and support our 1st shift team members in driving World Class Excellence within our Level and Pressure Production Center. Within Level and Pressure Greenwood, weutilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.

We're looking for a dynamic individual who excels at managing operations, motivating teams, and maintaining high standards to drive our production success.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly atappropriate location
  • Fabricate sub-components as needed using various tools and machines
  • Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation
  • Conduct calibration for devices as needed
  • Maintainaccurateinventory and notifysupervisorof adjustments or scrap
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and toolsrequiredtoaccomplishdaily tasks
  • Participate andassistwith cross trainingemployees on production processeswhere applicable
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5SLean concepts
  • Use SAP andMIKEsoftware systems to look up or enter information
  • Adhere to the safety guidelines for the work area
  • AssistandmaintainISO procedures and documents that apply to position
  • Determinethe correct pack to use for each device
  • Pack devices ensuring no damage during shipment
  • Perform all functions to ensure highest quality and value of delivery to the customer

  • Able to use hand tools, power tools andoperatemachines
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Can read and understand basic drawings,diagramsand production orders
  • Must be flexible and willing to learndifferent positions
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and0-2 years related experience or equivalent training.
