GIS Data Analyst

About the role:

We are looking for a GIS Data Analyst / Mapping Specialist to support a high-performing team responsible for data analysis, reporting, and geospatial mapping within a utility environment. This position is available in Minneapolis, MN, Eau Claire, WI, or Denver, CO and follows a hybrid schedule. You will work with enterprise GIS and data platforms, including Esri tools, to extract, analyze, and visualize complex data for team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, analyze, and report on data for internal business teams
• Create interactive maps and visualizations using Esri / ArcGIS tools
• Perform data analysis using tools such as Databricks and Python
• Support regulatory data requests and reporting needs
• Manage and complete assigned work through JIRA task boards
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all data outputs and reporting
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex data and mapping challenges
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with Esri / ArcGIS GIS platforms
• Data extraction, reporting, and analysis experience
• Experience using Python for data or GIS tasks
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms
• Experience with GE Smallworld
