Position Title: Instructors of Educational Studies Compensation: $3,000 per class Department: Educational Studies - Temp Start Date: 08/21/2026 About this opportunity: Teachers' College invites applications for part-time semester faculty appointments to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Educational Studies. Areas of specialization include social foundations of education, multicultural education, curriculum and instruction, and secondary teacher education. Courses are held in-person on the Muncie campus. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Please note that applications will remain active for 1 year. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not hear from the department until there is a need to hire an instructor. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Description: Teachers' College invites applications for part-time semester faculty appointments to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Educational Studies. Areas of specialization include social foundations of education, multicultural education, curriculum and instruction, and secondary teacher education. Courses are held in-person on the Muncie campus. Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate course(s) in the Department of Educational Studies. Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in education or related field from an accredited institution for undergraduate courses; doctoral degree in education or a related field for graduate courses. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in education or a related field with a specialization in secondary education or multicultural education.
