| Job Description |
**Pending contract award**
The Facility Coordinator (FC) primary responsibility to monitor and inspect buildings, associated building components, and infrastructure for their life-cycle management. The FC will submit and track, from initiation-to-completion service orders and work orders. Perform various inspections utilizing various prescribed checklists. The FC may also be responsible for assisting with supplemental cleaning and associated tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Shall be responsible for conducting various tasks to include the Inspection of Life, Health & Safety Equipment; to include fire extinguishers, Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) & AED Pads (Expiration Date), and Eye Wash Stations. Shall conduct comprehensive building inspections. * Shall serve as the Fire Monitor in all CBC buildings to resolve deficiencies that are identified by the APG Garrison FD Fire Chief as well work directly with APG FD Fire Inspectors. * Shall monitor areas for restocking and resupply. * Shall coordinate with Project Engineer to assist with project support and contactor escorting. * Shall be responsible for snow removal and spill cleanup as needed. * Shall be required to support After-hours for Emergency Response to weather or facility-related issues. 24- hour coverage that includes off hours, weekends, and holidays ("On-Call"). * Shall provide Emergency Response for floods, mold remediation, bodily fluid clean-up, and general housekeeping. * Shall follow all internal & external procedures/SOPs. * Shall monitor and police the surrounding exterior grounds up to 50 feet from the building. * Shall work with and assist building occupants to identify and resolve concerns. * Shall assist in the neat and presentable appearance of facilities to the customer. * Shall follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while also able to work independently and as part of a team and adhere to policies. * Shall support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements. * Shall maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. * Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers. * Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders. (DOD, ARMY, OSHA, ANSI, other industry identified) * Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested. * Shall provide and assist with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters. * Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format. * Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. * Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY. * Other duties as assigned. |

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of (4) Years of Facility Management Experience and Bachelor's Degree in related field, and (active) Maryland CLASS C Driver's License. or * Minimum of (8) Years of Facility Management Experience and possess an (active), IFMA Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification, and (active) CLASS C Driver's License. or * Minimum of (20) Years of Commercial or Industrial Facility Management Experience and (active) CLASS C Driver's License.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
* The work of this position is performed in both an environmentally controlled office interiors and building settings and sometimes performed outdoors where you are subject to the environment. * This position is primarily mobile. Will need to walk exterior/interior building sites and evaluate projects and tour warehouses and buildings on post. * Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time * Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and works in both bending and standing positions for extended periods of time and all types of weather. * Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities. Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements * Must be a U.S. Citizen. * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests. * Must be able to successfully complete a background check. * Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain securityclearance for the duration of employment.

Rate of Pay/Benefits
Annual Salary: $44,134.00
