Position Overview

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and optimize core system components for infrastructure platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex software defects, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities, applying advanced debugging techniques.

• Review and refactor code for maintainability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices, mentoring junior programmers in technical skills and standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, database administrators, and security specialists, to integrate new features and technologies.

• Author technical reports, contribute to the company's knowledge base, and present findings and recommendations to technical leadership.

• Manage information systems, oversee data integrity, and ensure proper documentation and version control for all technical deliverables.

• Participate in technical conferences, workshops, and external collaborations to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.

What You'll Bring to Zelis:

• Typically has Bach. +4 yrs; Masters +2 yrs Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional meetings

• Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.

• Advanced proficiency in systems programming and debugging.

• Experience with distributed systems, networking protocols, and database internals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attendance at company and regional technical conferences.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
