Information Assurance Support Specialist (Mid to Senior Levels)- Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Information Assurance Support professionals to provide IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers in support of NAVSEA Professional Support Services for Engineering Support.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.

Here's what you need (Required Qualifications):

Mid:

• A high school degree, or a GED, and ten (10) years of relevant experience in information assurance providing IT systems support or related functional area, OR
  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of relevant experience in information assurance providing IT systems support or related functional area, OR
  • a master's degree in a relevant field.
• DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).

Senior:

• A high school degree, or a GED, and twenty (20) years of relevant experience in information assurance providing IT systems support or related functional area, OR:
  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in information assurance providing IT systems support or related functional area, OR
  • a master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience in information assurance providing IT systems support or related functional area.
• DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).

Bonus Points If You Have (Desired Qualifications):

• Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices supported, as required by SEA 05, in accordance with the statement of work.

Security Clearance:

• Interim or Active Secret

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with additional years of experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, as outlined under the required qualifications for the applicable level.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, on-site at the Navy Yard, Washington, D.C.

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000-145,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
