Who we are looking for:

We are searching for a Community Lending Division Business Development Manager - Events/Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance our community lending initiatives, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and drive business growth. This position requires a blend of business development, event planning, coordination, and marketing expertise to promote our lending products and services effectively.

What you'll do:

Business Development:





      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community lending space.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and potential clients.
      • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share and revenue in the community lending sector.




Event Planning and Coordination:





      • Plan, organize, and execute community outreach events, workshops, and seminars to promote lending products and services.
      • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, materials preparation, and attendee registration.
      • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution and follow-up.




Marketing and Promotion:





      • Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of community lending programs.
      • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, and print materials.
      • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.




Community Engagement:





      • Represent the company at community events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and establish connections.
      • Gather feedback from community members and stakeholders to identify needs and improve lending offerings.




Reporting and Analysis:







      • Track and report on business development activities, event outcomes, and marketing campaign performance.






What you'll need to be successful:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or community engagement, preferably within the financial services or lending industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
