Job Summary
Responsible for the the strategic design, development, implementation and management of the organization's Total Rewards programs and initiatives. This role ensures all applicable compensation and benefits programs are executed efficiently, ensuring that programs and practices are in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives, supporting a high performance culture and market competitive advantage
Essential Duties
- Leads the strategy, design and execuction of compensation, benefits and well-being programs.
- Oversees the development, planning and execution of base and incentive compensation programs, prepares policies and procedures to ensure achievement of competitive and equitable programs that are aligned to strategic corporate goals. Conducts market benchmarking and internal pay equity analyses to ensure comptetitiveness and fairness.
- Manages, mentors and develops direct reports in the areas of Compensation and Benefits
- Evaluates and enhances health and well-being programs, to meet Partner needs and ensures effective cost management strategies. Oversees management of plan performance, vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Responsible for developing presentations and communication materials for distribution to Partners.
- Works with external Benefits consultants to determine competitiveness of rates, plan design and assessment of employee contributory rates. Provides final analyses of all renewals for presentation to Executive Management team.
- Oversees the execution of the Open Enrollment process for multi-plan benefits programs, including strategic planning, project management, education, and communication.
- Manages and oversees the implementation of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to advise on total rewards strategies and decisions.
- Oversees leave management and accommodation programs including those governed and mandated by federal law to include FMLA, ADA and USERRA, as well as company leave banks. Assesses alternatives for existing leave programs offered and recommends changes to ensure leave programs remain competitive.
- Ensures organizational compliance with Federal, State and Local laws. Stays abreast of trends impacting the Total Rewards space
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
- CBP, CEBS, PHR and/or SPHR certification is preferred.
- 10+ years similar experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
- Ability to apply analytical and interpretive skills to problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information and all applicable compliance activities.
