Job description

We are seeking a Workday Financials SME to support financial operations through the management and enhancement of Workday Financial Management. This individual will play a key role in maintaining system performance, supporting finance-related workflows, and ensuring the platform aligns with organizational requirements. The ideal candidate brings experience in Workday administration, financial processes, and familiarity with private markets environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Administration & Support:



  • Oversee daily operations of Workday Financial Management, ensuring consistent system performance and reliability.
  • Maintain user access, roles, and security configurations to uphold proper governance and data integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues related to functionality, integrations, and configurations.
  • Support ongoing system maintenance, updates, and enhancements to meet changing business needs.


Configuration & Continuous Improvement:



  • Assist in configuring Workday modules such as Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expense Management, and Reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and streamline financial processes.
  • Align system setup with operational workflows and reporting requirements across finance teams.


Private Markets Support:



  • Apply knowledge of private markets structures to support system configuration, including fund and investment tracking.
  • Help ensure the platform supports key financial activities such as portfolio oversight and investor-related reporting.


Reporting & Insights:



  • Produce and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Validate data accuracy through regular testing and review of reporting outputs.
  • Develop customized reports in alignment with accounting standards and internal requirements.


Training & Documentation:



  • Create and update user guides and training materials for finance and operational teams.
  • Deliver training sessions to promote effective system usage and adoption of new features.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
