Must have Content Design experience specific to UX/CX. (This is not copywriter position) 12 Month contract, 40 hours a week, paid weekly W2 (Not open to C2C) 3 days onsite (we are not open to 100% remote) Portfolio required should be available with password on your resume * We are prioritizing candidates with Wealth experience, than Banking, Than Insurance, then other related fields. * Must have 4 years of experience working on UX team as a content designer or UX Writer * Must have portfolio Our needs a Content Designer to support the growing organization by shaping clear, intuitive, and human-centered content across advisor- and client-facing digital experiences. Reporting to the Design Manager, this Content Designer role is responsible for collaborating closely with product, design, and dev partners to build information architecture, craft content systems, and deliver endtoend content solutions in an evolving, ambiguous environment. Responsibilities: -Define and structure content, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with advisor and client needs. -Develop content frameworks, patterns, and guidelines that support scalable, consistent experiences. -Write and refine userfacing copy, microcopy, error messages, and flows within Figma and product environments. -Partner with product owners, UX designers, researchers, and design teams to deliver cohesive experiences. -Present work clearly, articulating problem spaces, decisions, and outcomes in portfolio reviews and team discussions. -Apply and contribute to design system, ensuring accessibility, consistency, and quality. -Operate independently in a new and evolving environment where not all scenarios or processes are fully defined. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
