Tax Analyst

About the role:

We're looking for a Tax Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. It is a W-2 position. You will be responsible for moderate to complex projects. These projects associate with the maintenance of tax records and the preparation of tax returns. The tax returns may include all or specifically assigned returns, separate company corporate income tax returns, partnership tax returns, consolidated tax returns, and related reports.

Location: Houston, TX 77024

Hybrid role - Training period will be ONSITE

Monday & Friday - Work from Home : Tuesday - Thursday - In the Office.

1-year contract assignment.(W-2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal/state/local income tax returns, schedules, extensions and payment estimates following our client's tax filing calendar
• Conduct financial and economic analyses, preparing our client's financial plans and budgets and interpreting financial reports and tax returns
• Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims Prepares tax calculations to support tax controversy analyzes
• Conduct tax assumptions in project models
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 2+ years

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30.00/hr. to $35.00/hr.
