Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 Hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic. They are integral members of health care teams, working with individuals and families, as well as teaching students, engaging in research, promoting public education and leading in public health initiatives across the state. We are seeking a Genetic Counselor - Genomic Medicine to: * Provide genetic counseling in existing practice for nephrology and specified pediatric specialty indications. * Grow genetic counseling reach to include direct to consumer results and healthy adult screening. * Support clinical outreach needs for new population screening program. Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling from a college or university program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling or the * American Board of Genetic Counseling or a Master's degree in clinical or medical genetics prior to the establishment of the ACGC or ABGC Required Work Experience: * 2 years or more years' experience in clinical genetic counseling; experience in domain-specific area Preferred Licenses & Certifications: * Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling Required * Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling Preferred Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
