Overview

As a Procurement Administrator, you play a crucial role in sourcing the right products and materials that drive success for one or more projects in a division. The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia's busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.

What you will be doing

    Create and maintain the GDOT certificate log, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
  • Organize and file all GDOT certificates in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Track expiration dates and proactively request document renewals as needed
  • Create and maintain the bonds log, monitoring status and key deadlines
  • File and organize all bond documentation for easy access and compliance purposes
  • Coordinate and request bonds following contract execution to ensure timely processing
  • Issue initial insurance certificates to TSIB and ensure all required documentation is complete
  • Assist with entering and maintaining contract data in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE), including verifying accuracy of key details, supporting documentation, and contract terms
  • Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects
  • Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams
  • Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables
  • Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation
  • Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager


What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.
  • 1+ year related construction experience preferred.
  • Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Able to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.
