What you'll do:

SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for leading your team with safety, 5S, quality, and controlling cost in your department. This position requires you to train, direct, and hold accountability to the policies and processes of the organization through consistent, fair, and equal leadership practices. Must be flexible with work hours/assignments and have a good knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* You must be proficient with computers.
* Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate co-workers, have a positive attitude, be highly organized and have a strong desire to be proactive in dealing with product and people issues.
* Supervises employees involved in loading and unloading materials, checking invoices, pulling stock, operating material handling equipment, and other warehouse and delivery duties.
* Maintains shipping records.
* Maintains an inventory of stock on hand of both short-term storage and that which is replenished as needed.
* Maintains responsibility for securing and arranging the storage of stock and the pulling of stock for issue.
* Performs other work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* HS Diploma or GED required.
* Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.
* Knowledge of inventory methods and procedures.
* Ability to ship and receive materials by following standard warehousing principles and practices.
* Train and hold accountability to the 5S process and expectation of your area.
* Do regular audits to ensure the practices and processes are followed driving continuous improvement.
* Drive training and accountability with your team for following our policies and procedures.
* Ensure department expectations are consistently achieved - issues are properly addressed and contained within the department.
* Identify and coordinate all required and necessary training.
