This position will support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts by helping identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. The position also supports roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, working groups, etc.
- Draft, edit, and review a variety of correspondence and documentation, primarily using Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting/conference support.
- Prepare briefing/training materials and present briefings/trainings.
- Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Provide awareness of new/evolving requirements and recommendations for integration.
- Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution.
- Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies.
Task-Specific Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and provide written or verbal recommendations to HQ CCC Government leads to develop and evolve CM strategies, plans, requirements, doctrine, and policy for systems enhancement on air, ground, munitions, and space weapons systems IAW Service and Joint doctrine. Develop and recommend training objectives and goals, fielding plans, and capability integration and transition plans to reduce warfighter security risks associated with fielding new cryptographic capabilities.
- Review test plans for completeness and accuracy of the host platform for efforts requiring development or testing prior to implementation.
- Develop, review, and analyze Material Fielding Plans, and recommend priorities based on the highest risk to warfighters' needs to enhance proper supply chain processes and adequate sparing. Review and analyze integration and transition plans.
- Assist fielding units, through authorized communication methods, on the processes and routines to transition products such as algorithms and software to minimize transition risk. Make recommendations to Government leads to promote proper planning and coordination for both air and ground combat forces.
- Develop Cryptographic Training material at varying scope, depth, and classification levels to educate senior leaders, partners, CCC leadership, new employees, and support continuing education. Topics shall include, at minimum, COMSEC as implemented in the DAF (including Keying), history of cryptography, cryptography changes over the last 30 years, Crypto Modernization Initiative (CM1), Crypto Modernization 2, and High Performance and Quantum computer threats. Training material shall cover Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced knowledge levels.

- Active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
- Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams using TMT or other staff coordination standards, document reviews, program updates, and background papers to drive adoption of critical recommendations.
