$135,283.20 - $170,414.40

Key Highlights:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients, including history-taking, mental status exams, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Diagnose a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and addiction-related disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, focusing on pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • In collaboration with the consulting provider, provide medication recommendations and ongoing medication management, monitor therapeutic response and side effects, and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings, providing input on patient care and treatment progress.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Support patients and families with education on psychiatric conditions, medication regimens, and recovery strategies.
  • Provide ongoing management of patients, ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • AMastersdegreefrom an accredited Nurse Practitionerprogram
  • Certification: Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required.
  • Eligible or current Massachusetts license,with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
  • Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration arerequired.
